With the Studio growing in popularity, we decided it was time for us to pull up our website's socks.
The new site contains much more information than the previous one, as well as looking much nicer. Instead of listing our huge range of equipment, we've got a gallery of high quality images (you wouldn't expect any less from a photography studio) so you can see what we have rather than us boring you with a list of words and numbers. Much simpler.
The events calendar is filling up with social events, professional model days and private bookings while the photo blog offers some of our opinions on relevant photography matters and to discuss our upcoming events.
It's still only £15 an hour to hire and, unlike many studios, we don't charge for the use of equipment. Sharing's caring, we'd much prefer you to come and explore new ideas than worry about charging you for every single flash transmitter you use. We can also offer tutorials for those wanting to try studio photography but who are bamboozled by all the equipment, whether you're an individual or want to organise a small group of friends to come along with. These are custom sessions, we like to tailor them to everyone's level of experience and interests, so give us a ring to find out more.
For those who are slightly more advanced or professional, the range of equipment, props, backgrounds, wind machines, lights, softboxes, reflectors and flashes mean you can create the masterpiece you've always dreamed of. You can get every single detail exactly as you imagine it, so don't let the lack of studio or equipment hold you back, come and see us at Studio 2. Our space is also perfect for any portraits, portfolio or pre-wedding shots as our infinity curve gives you a completely flawless background with no fuss at all.
Studio 2 would like to extend an invitation to all enthusiastic photographers and models based on the Isle of Wight to join us on every third Thursday of the month for a get together. The regular photographers enjoy meeting at the Kasbah for a drink and a catch up on the latest photography news. We discuss equipment, share ideas and techniques and organise upcoming events.
The Studio runs frequent model days, where top class models are brought over to the Island for several days so the photographers have the chance to work with a professional. We try to use a variety of models and any input at these meetings is welcome. The model days are incredibly popular and book up quickly, so get in touch if you'd like to know more.
We'd appreciated any feedback you have, so please check out the new website and let us know what you think http://www.studio2ryde.co.uk
